Haridwar, literally translates to the "Doorway to God"... needless to say it has quite a cross to bear for it's name. It's a city where everyone often shows up to wash away their sins in the holy flowing river
of forgiveness, The Ganges. This city is loaded with traditional iconography and indigenous Brahmins. People pictured in this body of work are either in the show, running the show or mooching off someone
else's. A city for Quacks and Jacks and not as many Jill's, Hairidwar holds a great sense of mystery to someone in my generational pocket. I am a product of a hybrid fusion culture taught to introduce logic
at every stage of life and hence Haridwar to me will always be the door that I may have the right key to but the answers lie in finding the lock.
